The Focus Electric, based on the Ford Focus body, is five passenger all-battery electric powered by 23 kWh of Li-ion batteries with active liquid cooling. The Focus Electric comes with a 6.6 kW onboard charger that allows the vehicle to fully charge the battery within 4 hours using a Level 2 (240 V) charger. The Focus Electric will communicate with the owners smart phone via MyFord® Mobile app. The Focus Electric's seats contain 100% recycled materials, and the cushions are made of bio-based foam derived from plant seed oils.
